Rejuvyn Terms & Conditions

1. The Agreement

This agreement is between oQue B.V. (trading as Rejuvyn, hereafter referred to as the “Organiser”) and You (the “Participant”).

By booking a retreat at Rejuvyn, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Participation & Safety

  • The Participant agrees to take part in psilocybin ceremonies, acknowledging that psilocybin is a psychoactive substance.
  • The Organiser will prioritize the safety and comfort of the Participant within the retreat context, providing support for preparation, the ceremony, and integration.
  • The Participant agrees to maintain a cautious, considerate, and respectful attitude towards themselves and others.
  • Disruptive behavior or overt negativity is prohibited as it subverts the experience of other participants.

3. Medical Declarations & Responsibilities

Before entering into this agreement, the Participant agrees to:

  • Medical Advice: Obtain professional medical advice regarding the effects of the substances ingested, particularly concerning any existing medical conditions or medications.
  • Disclosure: Honestly and thoroughly disclose all relevant health information via the Organiser’s medical questionnaire.
  • Updates: Notify the Organiser of any changes in medical status; failure to do so may lead to expulsion from the ceremony for safety reasons.
  • Medication: Consult a doctor before discontinuing any prescribed medications. The Organiser is not responsible for decisions to stop or change medication and accepts no liability for withdrawal effects.
  • Condition: Confirm they have not been diagnosed with psychotic disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder) and are in an appropriate physical and mental condition for the retreat.
  • Abstinence: Adhere to dietary and substance guidelines, including abstinence from street drugs, medication, red meat, and tyramine-rich products.

4. Liability & Risk

  • The Participant participates at their own risk.
  • The Participant expresses full understanding of and responsibility for the risks encountered during a retreat as described in the Retreat Agreement.
  • The Participant indemnifies the Organiser, its owners, and employees from all responsibility and liability for injury occurring during or after the retreat.

5. Conduct & Expulsion

The Organiser reserves the right to:

  • Testing: Require a drug or breathalyzer test prior to or during the retreat. Refusal may lead to immediate expulsion without a refund.
  • Expulsion: Remove any individual for failing to follow guidelines or disrupting the group, staff, or shamans.
  • Restraint: Physically restrain a Participant if they present a threat to themselves or others. This will be done with as much respect for dignity as possible.
  • No Refund: In cases of expulsion or a Participant choosing to leave early, the Organiser is not responsible for refunds or providing alternative accommodation.

6. Payment & Cancellations

  • Payment: Retreats must be paid in full upon booking via PayPal or bank transfer. For bank transfers, reservations are final only upon receipt of proof of payment.
  • Cancellations (6+ weeks): Full refund available, minus a EUR 75 administration fee.
  • Cancellations (6 to 2 weeks): Payments are non-refundable, but rescheduling is permitted for a EUR 75 fee.
  • Cancellations (Within 2 weeks): No refunds or rescheduling possible.
  • Insurance: Participants are strongly recommended to purchase travel cancellation insurance.

7. Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency (e.g., infection or injury), a representative of the Organiser will accompany the Participant to a medical facility for treatment.

8. Governing Law

This agreement and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
